I have a Dell Vostro 3500 laptop PC. It had a partially cracked display so I got a new LCD replacement screen and replaced it. When I tried to turn it on it, it powered on but it didn't boot up and there was no display or light on the screen. Thinking that the new one was not compatible, I tried putting back the old one but this time it couldn't come on as well. Fan spins but nothing happens. I tried doing a power reset and replacing RAM chips but to no avail. Normally when a computer boots, you would have to hold the power button a little longer to shut it down. This used to happen but now it just turns off after you tap on the power button. How would a screen do that to laptop?
