Hi guys,
So, My Dell XPS L502x's integrated webcam kept connecting and disconnecting as my slightly loose and unhinged monitor opened and closed. So, in order to prevent any problems, I disabled my webcam. I didn't realise it also disables mic and prevents an external mic from connecting either.
Now, I can't access my webcam as it's not listed in Device Manager so I know it's disabled but I can't re-enable it again since it's not listed.
I tried booting from BIOS but I'm not sure there was a webcam option (maybe I wasn't looking in the right place?)
I'm thinking it's a connection problem so I was thinking of taking the bezel off to make sure everything is okay.
I wanted to know whether it's necessary to go through the entire process of disconnecting the back and taking out the I/O devices etc?
Can't I just remove the battery and remove the bezel?
