This is my husbands work computer. Ive been researching and reading for 2 days and cannot seem to find a fix.
Windows 7 Professional
Started last week, all icons disappeared computer would not do much of anything.
I tried to system restore back to 6/1
During restore everything went black with only cursor.
Safe mode is also only black with cursor. Cannot enter any command prompts.
f12 launch repair gives error 0xc000000f - we do not have any cd's. Windows 7 came on the work laptop.
f2 diagnostics says all is well.
All help forums have solutions if you have a recovery disc (which we do not) or can get into safe mode (which we cannot)
Just for the heck of it, I put my Windows XP disc from desktop in and nothing happens. Disc is spinning but screen is still black.
